Feldenkrais method

The Feldenkrais Method works in two ways: Awareness through Movement® and Functional Integration®:

Awareness through Movement®

In this course, the teacher uses spoken language to guide students through a series of professionally structured movements and awareness in the movements. Each class is a guided exploration that improves our ability to learn, become aware of unhelpful habits, and discover new ways to use our bodies. Many classes are based on developmental movements and functional activities (such as extension and flexion, standing, lying to sitting, turning, etc.), while others are in-depth exploration of joints, muscles or postures.

Most of the awareness-in-motion courses are on-mat courses, and there are also standing or chair courses. This can be done in a group or one-on-one.

Functional Integration Course Functional Integration®

This is a one-to-one course. Teachers use precise professional touch, sometimes combined with oral guidance, to help people discover their existing patterns in movement, reconnect with their bodies, and learn how to use their bodies more effectively and develop Develop new, more efficient and smooth movement patterns and improve self-image.
